About Cynthia Zeki, PhD., RMT, NCTMB

Prior to becoming a personal energy consultant and Reiki Master Teacher, Cynthia Zeki was a professor at various institutions in Florida, China, and Taiwan. She moved to Chicago after receiving her PH.D. in Education from the Ohio State University to take a position at Roosevelt University. Cynthia first became interested in alternative therapies while teaching in China in the early 1980’s. There she took classes in Tai Chi and meditation, and experienced body work in Tui Na (Chinese massage), acupressure, and reflexology. She became fascinated by these different modalities and their effectiveness in reducing stress and pain.

In the late 90’s Cynthia decided to change her career path to reflect her interests in healthier living and alternative therapies. She became a nationally certified massage therapist and reflexologist (Ingham method). As a lifelong learner and educator, this path has naturally led her to the practice of energy healing and growth. Cynthia realizes that true health and joy can only be found when mental, physical and spiritual concerns are addressed & resolved. Cynthia uses a variety of energetic healing techniques to help her clients live more joyful, peaceful and meaningful lives. She has studied and received tutoring and mentoring in Akashic Record Reading, Usui Japenese Reiki, Twelve Ray Tradition, and other energetic modalities. She is a gifted energy healer and lightworker who greatly enjoys helping others heal.
