Mary Ellen Kramp, DPT, CLT-LANA
Mary Ellen is co-owner of Relief at Hand. She graduated from Springfield College in 1992 with a master's of science degree in physical therapy and received her doctorate from Boston University in 2005. She is a nationally certified lymphedema therapist and has other training in kinesiotaping, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and visceral manipulation. She also works with women's health for pelvic issues, and has published an infertility case-series research study in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association and a lymphatic case report in Rehabilitation Oncology. She has also developed a new research study for infertility which is approved through Nova Southeastern University and is currently underway.
Mary Ellen is also the president and co-founder of Pelvic Health Research Initiative, Inc., a non-profit developed for the purpose of supporting clinical pelvic research. She has developed and teaches continuing education courses for other physical therapists to help support Pelvic Health Research Initiative.
Diane Richardson, PT, CLT
Diane is a Physical Therapist and co owner of Relief at Hand. She was born and raised in Clearwater and lived in Pinellas county all her life. She graduated from Florida International University in 1984, and has over 33 years of experience in Physical Therapy. She worked at Bayfront Medical for many years, a Level 2 Trauma center, and treated a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. She worked several years in home health and has been at Relief at Hand since 2005. She has extensive training in all aspects of orthopedics, back and neck pain, muscle pain, joint pain and replacements, manual therapy, and Cranial sacral therapy. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and certified in Kinesio Taping.
Diane enjoys spending her free time with her family, friends and her dog, Nemo. She also enjoys swimming and biking. She is an active member of Daughters of the American Revolution and is proud to honor her ancestors' patriotism during the Revolutionary War. She serves as an Ambassador for the Seminole Chamber of Commerce and proudly co-accepted the 2016 Boss of the Year in March 2017.
Nicole Hamel, PT, CLT
Nicole graduated from Ithaca College in 1990. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and has worked in a wide range of environments and has a wide range of manual therapy skills. She will be involved with the infertility research study as one of the investigators. Nicole has done a lot of work with vestibular rehabilitation and has effective treatments for vertigo. In addition, Nicole treats orthopedic and neurological issues resulting from traumas including sports injuries, concussions, headaches, TMJ and neck and back pain
Cate Bransfield, AP, RN
Cate's background includes being a practicing RN for almost twenty years, Certified Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse, hypnotherapist, deacon and now licensed practitioner of Oriental Medicine. She uses a combination of her background including guided imagery into her treatments. She graduated from The Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine in May 2004 with a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine, and is currently practicing as a Board Certified, Diplomate in Acupuncture. Elizabeth, our office manager, handles billing questions, scheduling, and everything office. She is one of those amazing people who should absolutely undergo cloning and be in every office everywhere.
Barbara, our former office manager has retired, but you will still see her around the office at times doing special projects and filling in!! We won't let her leave completely. Nope. She is too special.
Merideth is a certified therapy dog. She was originally raised to be a guide dog for the blind, but ironically was dismissed from that endeavor due to vision problems. She now loves to greet people coming in to the clinic and is happy to share kisses.
Eddie is a therapy dog at the clinic. He is a retired guide dog breeder and in his retirement loves to greet every person coming in the door and provide lots of love and kisses.
